4. Rhodes University

7. University of KwaZulu Natal

The University of KwaZulu Natal is a leading research university in South Africa and now ranks 686th in the world. After a merger on January 1, 2004, the University of Durban-Westville and the University of Natal became the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
