Student Cost of Living

There have been a few studies showing how much to budget for when living in Thailand. Traditionally $2,000 or even $2,500 USD would be the better budgeted amount. Because rent can be in some higher or more expensive places, can equal out to $1,500 USD per month.

However, some rental apartments that are one bedroom are affordable for $1,000 USD per month.

If a student were to budget with $3,000 per month, that student would be incredibly well off and would be able to live as comfortably as possible.

Academic Tuition Cost

For undergraduates expecting to pay tuition per academic year, this will average out to about $500 – $4,000 USD per year. Thailand is quite affordable for international students who wish to acquire a genuine education without risking high prices.

For post-graduate students they can expect to pay $1,000 to only $2,000 USD per annual year.

Cost of Living for Students

Without monthly rent a student would around $430 for everything else such as utilities, groceries, transportation pass, and daily necessities to be comfortable day-to-day.

Rent and all necessities would be estimated around $750 per month. This is extremely affordable considering other expensive places in the world.

Cost of Annual College Tuition

Students can expect to pay for an undergraduate degree, around $5,000 USD per year. This is extremely budget friendly and students would even be able to pay off their tuition in full, in advance. This $5,000 USD estimation is based on the University of Dar es Salaam’s tuition annual cost.

It comes as no shock that Greece shares several of their core fundamental classes with that of American universities, such as the University of Indianapolis which has ties to the Indianapolis American city. However, the campus is stationed in Athens, Greece. However, what may come as a surprise to some students is the amount to technical colleges available to international students. Necessarily, Greece is not traditionally thought of as a “tech center” city, yet, many up and coming technological apps, cryptocurrency, and other future tech innovations are coming from this country.

Greece is one of the more affordable European countries available, and students will be able to budget more accordingly. Students should set aside per month at least 350 EUR – 800 EUR. When it comes to budgeting while living in Greece, students will find that it is a lot easier to do so when they live closer to the college or university they are attending. This will cut down on all transportation costs.

Tuition Cost and Expectance

Luckily, all international students are only expected to pay, €1500 per year for undergraduate studies. This is significantly less than the surrounding European countries that are within the EU.

When it comes to studying for a Master’s program, students can expect the public universities to ask for at least a minimum of €1500-€2000 per academic year.

While the official native language is Greek, the country of Greece has a profound and interesting history of multi-cultural heritage. While international students will have no trouble being easily accommodated while in Greece, students are encouraged to take part in the native history of the country’s main language. Not only is this an enriching experience but this can allow a student to better understand their surroundings and make friendships throughout the country.

Also, in Greece, students who are studying Greek will actually be able to benefit from full waived tuition fees because the student is studying the history of that country. Which is seen as a specialty and important priority among the universities or higher education centers in Greece.
