Croatia Scholarships

We are going to take a look at many different scholarships from Croatia that will either be fully funded or partial funded to help international students to save on tuition costs. Croatia offers quite a few scholarship options that helps students who may not be able to cover the fundings needed to acquire an international degree.

Croatia has around 130 higher education universities available for any student to apply for admission. And in a great twist of events, Croatia has a fairly affordable tuition rate which has only one program (science) that tends to be on the higher edge of the tuition scale. Science degree programs go for around 3,500 EUR per academic year for international students. Whereas ICT or technical programs cost around 1,200 EUR per academic year.

This is not a complete list of scholarships that cover both international and domestic that students can apply towards. Instead, we provide a varied selection that students can apply for that have a high funding rate.

Around 30 scholarships are dedicated to Croatian citizens who live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These scholarships will specify that only Croatian individuals who live in specific areas can apply.

Croatia tends to have multiple agreements with various higher education institutions around the world, where students can access easier transferring options and more resources available at their disposal.

With Croatian being the native language, international students can secure a better and higher financed scholarship if they show and know some of the Croatian language. While international students can test their Croatian proficiency level, if the student suggests that they would like to continue their language course… they can receive a 50% covered tuition scholarship.

Austria Scholarships

Students will find out that studying in Austria can provide a once in a lifetime experience when it comes to resource access to some of the best intuitions in Europe. Public universities in Austria are free of tuition for all EU citizens and EEA citizens. However, even international students that are not an EU or EEA citizen can take advantage of the below budget 1,500 EUR per academic year tuition cost. That does include tuition fees as well. Austria is known as one of the most affordable countries to earn a higher education and is regarded amongst top politicians and officials.

Cost of Living in Paraguay for Students

Without rent a student can expect to pay for daily needs, groceries, transportation passes, and other items like clothing would equal to about $480 per month. With rent included that amount would be around depending on which populated and expensive area a student chooses to live in, they can expect to need $1,500 USD in the more expensive places. While other places that are outside of the expensive limits can average out to around $650 USD per month, with rent included.

Students will need to look around the areas where they believe they would like to live is they are not living on campus. However, most of the time accommodation will be provided by the university or a scholarship.

Cost of Annual College Tuition

The typical and average college tuition students can expect from Paraguay is between $1,000 USD to $3,000 USD per academic year.  Now fees for international students may be increased or added simply because they are an international student. This usually involves student visa, health insurance coverage, potential accommodation fees and resource fees (such as equipment, textbooks, and anything that a student would need as a resource.)

The $1,000 USD would be the average for the National University of Canindeyú. Where the traditional $3,000 USD per annual tuition can be expected at Polytechnic and Artistic University of Paraguay.

Main Languages Spoken in Paraguay

The main languages that are spoken in Paraguay are Paraguayan Guaraní and Spanish. There are more languages spoken throughout Paraguay which include Portuguese, Plautdietsch, Standard German, Italian, Lengua, Guana, and many more other dialects. International students would far better if they were to learn Spanish or Paraguayan Guarani. This way they will be able to better navigate the country.

Cost of Living in the Maldives

Many study reports have shown that living in the Maldives is at least 22% cheaper than living in the United States. An estimated cost for renting a 1-bedroom apartment or studio will come to around $740. That does not include utilities or any other necessary items like transportation passes, groceries, and more.

International student will find that living in the Maldives will allow them to save money for future things.

Cost of Annual College Tuition

For certain programs the tuition cost will vary for example:

  • Media and Technology for a full year duration will cost around $1,800 USD
  • Humanities for a full year duration will cost around $1,600 USD
  • Information Technology or Computer Information for a full year duration will cost around $2,000 USD

To say that the college tuition for an academic year is purely based on the subject being pursued and study is completely true in the Maldives. Students may find certain programs are easier to access by paying off the full tuition cost than other studies. For example, any biotech, medical, or biology courses will always be registered as a higher tuition cost than say literature or liberal art degrees.

This is solely based on the amount of equipment or resources that are needed for that subject.

Languages Spoken in the Maldives

Dhivehi is the main language spoken in the Maldives as well as being the Maldives official language. While English is routinely spoken in the country as well, so are French, German, Mandarin, and many other dialects are often used throughout the Maldives.
