There are a number of scholarships available to students who wish to study in Barbados. We will provide a few and give information as to how to obtain those scholarships.
Below are a few scholarships for both international and domestic students:

As for what college students can expect while living in Barbados, they can expect a warm and welcoming culture, beautiful beaches, a vibrant nightlife, and a diverse cuisine. Barbados has several universities and colleges, including the University of the West Indies, Barbados Community College, and the American University of Barbados, which offer a range of academic programs. Students can also participate in various cultural and recreational activities, such as attending the annual Crop Over festival or exploring the island’s many historical sites and natural attractions. Additionally, Barbados has a well-developed transportation system, making it easy for students to get around the island.
We will investigate how students can apply for the Caribbean Tourism Organization Scholarship Foundation:
- Check the eligibility requirements: Applicants must be citizens of a Caribbean country and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. They must also be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a tourism/hospitality program at a recognized tertiary institution.
- Complete the application form: The application form can be downloaded from the CTO Scholarship Foundation website. Applicants must complete all sections of the form and provide all the required information.
- Prepare supporting documents: Applicants must submit a transcript of their academic records, a letter of acceptance from the tertiary institution they will attend, and two letters of recommendation.
- Submit the application: The completed application form and supporting documents should be submitted to the CTO Scholarship Foundation by the stated deadline.
- Wait for the results: The CTO Scholarship Foundation will review all applications and notify successful applicants.
