Expected eligibility and requirements from Nauruan students includes:
- The student must be interested in studying one of these fields: Leadership, Governance and: Finance, Health, Education, Information and Communications Technology, Infrastructure development and management, Fisheries Management, and Engineering
- Applicants must score a 6.5 of higher on their English language proficiency.
- Anyone awarded this scholarship must use it in the same year, not the next. If the student cannot use the scholarship, it will simply be cancelled.
- Students must have already taken their QCE (including TVET subjects) or any other Australian State Year 12 qualification and have received their scores back. This is the same for master’s graduate, and even undergraduate.
- The applicant must have lived in Nauru for no less than 12 months (1 year).
