The Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship was established thanks to the generous gifts of individuals and organizations in recognition of the contributions that Cheryl Ann Keatley has made to the fields of continence education and elderly care.

Students who are pursuing either the Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care (Aged Care), the Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Aged Care), or the Master of Nursing degree are eligible to apply for this scholarship, the goal of which is to encourage them to pursue postgraduate training in incontinence nursing by providing them with financial assistance (Aged Care).

Scholarship Offer:

One scholarship with a value of $1,000 will be awarded, but this is contingent on there being enough money.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

Applicants are required to:

  • be a citizen of Australia or a permanent resident of the country; and
  • have submitted an application for admission to, or be enrolled in, one of the following programs offered by Flinders University: the Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care (Aged Care), the Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Aged Care), or the Master of Nursing (Aged Care); and
  • be able to show that they are experiencing financial difficulty; and
  • have the ability to provide evidence of active participation in the provision of care to the elderly person.
  • The representatives of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, in partnership with the Student Finance Services, shall be the ones to make the selection.
  • The recipient of the scholarship will be determined based on their shown active involvement in the provision of care to older people as well as their documented financial need.

The Flinders University 2022 Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship is open to all International Students

 

Students from outside the United Kingdom who are enrolled in one of our Chinese-English Translation and Interpreting programs are eligible to apply for a scholarship of £3,000. There are five different scholarships up for grabs.
