About AfterCollege/AACN
The AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; students completing an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program; and those enrolled in an accelerated program.
AfterCollege has been connecting students and recent grads with employers hiring for internships and entry-level positions since our inception in a Stanford University dorm room in 1999. Eligibility/Requirements
- Check to see if your school is part of the AACN Member Program Directory
- Nursing student
- Applicants must be pursuing a degree in nursing at the baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral level to be eligible.
- Special consideration is given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator, students completing an RN to BSN or RN to MSN program, and those enrolled in an accelerated program.
Applying for scholarship
- Apply on their website since they have a scholarship application form set up.
Release of Funding
One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded each quarter.
Deadline
Throughout the year for each quarter are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.
