About the Provider

Southern Cross University was founded in 1994, one of the youngest universities in the world.

Their staff is driven by excellence and a desire to continuously improve the quality of their teaching and research. They are a university with high collegiality and performance. Deeply rooted in its regional community, Southern Cross demonstrates that world-class research, teaching, and learning thrive outside the capital city center. They are a world-class university, but the biggest measure of our success is the careers they have supported among the 66,000 graduates who go out into the world with confidence.
In addition, they also offer a range of inclusive programs through SCU College and maintain strong links with the local community and scholarships through the Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples. Southern Cross’ strong online learning delivery across a wide range of disciplines reaches students from across Australia.
Like many of the best universities in the world, being a smaller institution benefits them, which is reflected not only in the student experience they offer but also in our impact on research.
