Are you looking to embark on your career in the Business field and further your educational journey with the help of the scholarship, then you are invited to join the Global Masters Scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023 at the University of Birmingham. The University wants everyone to be completely aware of their financial commitment before become as one of the students at Birmingham.
The university ensures that fear about the finance to further your education are no concerns about future students’ finances at the university and that well-being is rewarded. The university offers students studying in Birmingham a range of additional financial assistance in the form of scholarships, scholarships, and other awards.
The University of Birmingham has several scholarships for students in our 12-month full-time MBA programs that contribute financially to the student’s tuition. The evaluation will be carried out through a separate application process, which is only open to holders of the 12-month Birmingham full-time MBA programs for entry 2022/23.
Global Masters Scholarship
Birmingham is a proud legacy of removing educational barriers to enable the most talented academically students to develop their educational and training potential. Following this tradition, the university is proud to be able to launch a Global Masters Scholarship to attract and support outstanding international students from specific eligible countries for the 2022-2023 academic entry.
Forty scholarships with a maximum value of £10,000 will be awarded. The scholarship award will be deducted from the successful student’s total tuition fee value to further their master’s degree at the university. The prestigious scholarships will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate the highest standards of academic excellence, and relevant experience, and who are committed to responsible business.

Eligibility
To be qualified for the application, the students must meet the following eligibility criteria for the scholarship:
- Must be classified domiciled in any of the eligible countries.
- Must have received or accepted the admission offer for the Master’s Degree program at the University of Birmingham for the academic year of 2022-2023.
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom and be classified as the United Kingdom for the purpose of paying fees.
- Must be able to commence their study at the university in September or October 2022 and must be on campus.
- Must be able to pay for their admission entry.
- Be academically exceptional and prove it in your scholarship statement. Applicants must have or expect to obtain a first-degree general degree (at least 70% in the UK system) with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Keep in mind that the students who receive a full scholarship as a sponsorship that includes all tuition fees from an alternative internal or external source will not be eligible for this scholarship. Those with other sub-prizes may combine these scholarships with other scholarships.
The grading system will be based on the United Kingdom’s first-class degrees.
Note: If you choose to need a program start date of September 2023, you will no longer be eligible for this scholarship as it will only be available for programs with a September 2022 start date.
Students applying for Birmingham Business School programs are not eligible for this scholarship but will be eligible for other separate MSc and MBA scholarships offered by the university.
Students who want to study a course that is only offered as a “distance learning” program are not eligible for this scholarship.
Application Process
These are competition scholars and candidates who meet the qualification requirements described above and who have been issued and accepted admission to a master’s degree in Birmingham can apply for this scholarship by completing the online portal application form provided by the university.
Please fill in the form correctly and completely, as incomplete applications will not be considered and cannot be changed after submission. Fill in the scholarship application form only once, as all duplicate applications will not be considered and the selection panel will be reviewing the completed applications only.
Selection Process
At the end of the deadline, scholarship applications will be collected and a long list will be drawn upon the basis of the information provided. Selection boards will be set up, made up of academic and professional service staff across five universities, with the task of enrolling and selecting candidates who demonstrate the highest academic talent.
All successful students will be notified through their registered email at the application form submitted.
Scholarship Award
The University of Birmingham will be selecting 40 outstanding students and will receive an amount of £10,000 that can be used towards their tuition fees.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to complete and submit the application is until June 30, 2022. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
