International students from China and India can begin their application today for the GREAT Scholarship offered by Falmouth University in partnership with the British Council and the United Kingdom GREAT Britain Campaign. Falmouth Univerisity is being honored to be in partnership with two big councils and announce the application for the academic year of 2022-2023.
As the Scholarship is only intended for the student of China and India, they are required to demonstrate their academic excellence and be enrolled in a one-year master’s degree at the university. Students must show an interest and how they are motivated in advancing their knowledge in the chosen field courses at the university. Through the generous awards to be provided for deserving students, the university wants to support financial assistance that can help the students further their education without the financial barrier.

- Must be able to demonstrate their interest and motivations to advance on their chosen field courses.
- Must be holding an undergraduate degree.
- A relevant work experience.
- Must be willing to be at networking events to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of learning in the UK.
- Be able to stay in touch with the British Council and the university.
- Must be able to act as an Ambassador for the scholarship.
- Students must be able to take admission at the university.
- Must be holding an offer for the Master’s degree at the university.
- Must be able to meet the Language requirements.
- As a graduate of a GREAT Scholarship, be prepared to talk to potential candidates about your study experience in the UK from time to time.
English Language Requirements
For applicants whose native language is not English, the university accepts various English language tests listed on their International Entry Requirements. Falmouth University may consider other ways to assess your English level, such as a reference from the employer if you work in an English Company or a reference from an English teacher. If the offer of a place is contingent on you meeting the university’s requirements in English, you must meet those requirements before your offer becomes unconditional and you can begin your studies.
The university also accepts test results that are made two years ago and the university understands the disruptions of the English test due to the Coronavirus Pandemic that has become a huge challenge to every student. To support those affected, if the test is more than two years old, we may, if possible, consider evidence of continued use of English at work or elsewhere on a temporary basis.

Application Process
The application forms can be accessed through an online portal provided by Falmouth University. Students can log in and create an account to complete their application forms along with the following documents
- Proof of Identification
- Passports
- Copy of transcript of records
- References
- Personal Statements
The students who are currently in India or China and already received an offer from Falmouth University must be able to submit a supporting statement to [email protected].
The statements should consist of 300-400 words outlining why you are deserving to receive the GREAT Scholarship. Once you have emailed the documents you will be receiving a confirmation of your application receipt within the next 72 hours, if in case, that the students didn’t receive any of the confirmation messages you must contact the university.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship will be providing an amount of £10,000 to the deserving students and can be used towards their education expenses at Falmouth University.
Scholarship Deadline
Keep in mind, that the students must be holding an offer provided by the university to proceed on submitting the applications and statements on or before the deadline. The submission wil be until June 1, 2022.
Selection Process
The scholarship committee will be the one to assess the scholarship applicants and will be interviewing the ones who have been considered for the scholarship. The interview will be conducted in two different ways, the students will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and creative skills to help the university further assess the potential topics.
You will be invited to an online interview via the application portal, which you can use to request a different date or time if necessary. If you are already in the UK, you can opt for a face-to-face interview.
