Package Offered:
- The scholarship offers up to $ 10,000 distributed as follows: Master’s (Level 1): $ 6666.66 per quarter + ITF (international students) + relocation allowance (if applicable) PhD (Level 2): $ 10,000 per term + assignment relocation (if applicable) + President’s Award for two years.
- The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, medical insurance or study materials.

Requirements:
- Eligible Course(s): Scholarship will be awarded in Science, Engineering, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
- The Killam Awards are open to both Canadian and international applicants.
- Applicants must have applied for funding from the relevant provincial, national or international agencies. For Canadians, this may include NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR, NSHRF, NSGS, etc., as appropriate to your discipline. For non-Canadians, applicants are expected to have applied for provincial scholarships (NSGS, etc.) and national / international awards for which they would be eligible.
- Killam Predoctoral Fellowship holders must be eligible to receive scholarship support for at least two years. This means that only newly admitted students will be considered at the Master’s level. At the doctoral level, only students who have spent less than 24 months in the program prior to May 1 of the award year will be considered.
- To apply, candidates can fill out their application form online or print it. After that, you need to fill out the application form.
- Applicants must submit transcripts, reference letters, and other supporting documentation.
- To gain admission, students must have a four-year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 hours of study credit and Degree awarded by a prestigious university.
- Applicants must demonstrate their ability to pursue a graduate program in English prior to admission. The language proficiency test may not be applied if the applicant has obtained a degree from a recognized university where the language of instruction is English in a country where English is one of the national languages.
