Scholarship details
Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University offers MBA scholarships for international students. These scholarships are applicable for the full-time international MBA program starting on January 2023. Two types of scholarships are awarded: RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship and RSM MBA Dean’s Assistance Award.
Complete the RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship Application Agreement and email your signed Applicant Agreement to the RSM Financial Aid Office at [email protected]. Scholarship applications should be submitted according to the MBA application round you have applied to (see MBA interview deadlines above).
Candidates can only submit one application for the MBA Diversity Scholarship. If you are unsuccessful in your scholarship application, you are not eligible to apply for any additional rounds of MBA Diversity Scholarships.
Selection process
The scholarship is based on merit and therefore the candidate will be selected by the RSM MBA Awards Committee based on their MBA application. For example, essays, CV, GMAT, business case (if applicable), intake interview. In addition, the Awards Committee will analyze your profile or aspects of it such as your nationality, cultural background, gender, experience, upbringing, sustainability, etc.
Note: Candidates can only submit one application for the RSM MBA Dean’s Assistance Award and the RSM Scholarship. If you apply to this round of application, you will not be able to apply to any other round.
Each RSM MBA Diversity scholarship will be awarded as a €10,000 tuition fee waiver. Dean’s Assistance awards are available with a value of up to 50% offered as a waiver of the MBA tuition fee. All the details:

Description
Financing your MBA can be challenging. RSM offers numerous scholarships to candidates who have been accepted into the full-time MBA program.
Candidates may apply for multiple scholarships, but can only be awarded once and are offered at their discretion by the RSM Scholarship Awards Committee.
Two types of RSM MBA scholarships are awarded: RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship and RSM MBA Dean’s Assistance Award.
Eligibility
Do you have what it takes to take advantage of RSM’s MBA scholarships?
‣ The RSM MBA scholarship award is open to high-potential candidates who are in need of financial assistance so that they can pursue their MBA degree at RSM.
‣ Any MBA candidate who has submitted their application to the MBA program before May 1, 2022, and is offered a place in the international full-time MBA program from January 2023 is eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria for RSM MBA Scholarships
‣ The RSM MBA Awards Committee will assess the merit of your Dean’s Attendance Award application based on the documents received and your application from the MBA Program for the International Full-Time MBA Program.
‣ The RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship is based on merit and therefore the RSM MBA Awards Committee will select the candidate based on their MBA application.
‣ For example, essays, CV, GMAT, business case (if applicable), intake interview. In addition, the Awards Committee will analyze your profile or aspects of it such as your nationality, cultural background, gender, experience, upbringing, sustainability, etc.
Notification:
‣ The winner will be formally notified within six weeks of the application deadline with an award letter and Terms and Conditions that must be duly signed and returned to the Financial Aid Office as confirmation to accept the scholarship.
Scholarship Application Method
‣ Applicants wishing to be considered for this Dean’s Assistance award must provide:
- a motivation letter to the RSM MBA Awards Committee outlining your particular financial challenges
- complete and submit the attached financial description and financing planning summary
- Copy of a current pay stub and bank statement.
- This must be emailed to the financial aid office. Complete the RSM MBA Diversity Scholarship Application Agreement. Email your signed Applicant Agreement to the RSM Financial Aid Office.
‣ Scholarship Application Due Date: There are five rounds of applications: April 24, 2022; June 26, 2022, August 21, 2022, October 16, 2022, and November 13, 2022.
