The University of the West of Scotland is pleased to announce its Masters Scholarship study in North Cyprus.
The University of the West of Scotland Masters Scholarship is awarded in Northern Cyprus by the Mediterranean Management Centre. Students who successfully complete their studies in Cyprus are awarded a standard UWS degree awarded at a formal graduation ceremony in Scotland.
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, so interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

What You Need To Know About The University Of The West Of Scotland Masters Scholarship
Level/field of study
Scholarships are available to pursue a Masters’s program at the University of Scotland. Scholarships are awarded to study Masters in Public Administration (MPA), Policy Analysis and Global Governance (MSc), Applied Social Sciences – Civil Society and Public Affairs, Masters in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (MED).
Host Nationality
The scholarship can be taken in North Cyprus.
Eligible Nationality
Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Voucher
Each year the College of ANU Engineering and Computer Science may award up to six (6) scholarships, known as the International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship is fully funded.
Masters Scholarship at the University of the West of Scotland Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicants for Applied Social Science and Social Policy Analysis and Global Governance programs must have degrees in any social science or related field (for example, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, Political Science, Business Studies, Medicine, Health, Law, Social work).
Interviews will be required for other degree types not mentioned above (face-to-face or Skype) with a condition of experience relevant to the program specialties (prior accredited or recognized experiential learning related to civil society, public affairs, criminal justice, applied psychology, social work, or social policy).
Minimum CGPA
- International Students 2.75
- 2.2 British
How to Apply for the Master’s Scholarship at the University of the West of Scotland

Applicants must submit the following documents to omur.yilmaz-at-uws.ac.uk and cc solalere-at-mcmed.eu:
- Completed application form (available on the website)
- A copy of the passport.
- Copies of diploma and transcripts.
- English standard: IELTS or TOEFL certificate

Eligibility Requirements:
To apply, students must:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline at a US university.
- Expected graduation date from December 2021 to June 2022
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Be able to provide proof of United States work authorization
