LEVEL/FIELD OF STUDY
The Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship is for college students.
Host Nationality
Only minority students who are citizens of the United States of America are eligible to apply for this scholarship. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have a high academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents with visas and must be of African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaska Native, or Hispanic descent. It would be advantageous to apply as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in any technical field, such as Chemistry, Information Management, Computer Science and Software Systems, Materials Science, Print Management Science, Laser Optics, Physics, Materials Science, and Engineering (Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical, Imaging, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Optical, or Software).
The scholarship is not available to spouses or children of Xerox employees.
Value of the Scholarship
The Technical Minority Scholarships offer financial awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to eligible minority students.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must belong to one of the following ethnic groups: African American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaska Native, or Hispanic.
Additionally, you must be studying full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student, and your major must fall within one of the following fields: chemistry, information management, computer science, physics, or engineering.
How to Apply for the Xerox Technical Minority Technical Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship, there are two methods available: online and offline. If you prefer to apply offline, you will need to first print the application form, complete it, and attach a copy of your resume. Then, send the completed application form and resume to the following address:

To apply, follow these steps:
1. Complete the top portion of the Xerox Minority Technical Scholarship Application form.
2. Ask the Financial Aid Office to complete the bottom half of the form. Xerox will not send applications to the Financial Aid Office.
3. Attach a copy of your resume, using the sample format provided if you wish.
4. Mail the completed application and resume to the address provided before September 30.
If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be notified by the end of December. If you do not receive any communication by this date, it means that you have not been selected as a recipient of the Xerox Minority Technical Scholarship.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION:
Submit your application on or before September 30 of each year.
