The Harvard MBA is one of the world’s leading business programs, taught at one of the world’s most prestigious Universities. The Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship is granted once every two years for a two-year course at Harvard Business School.

Harvard University is a private Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1636 as Harvard College and named for its first benefactor, the Puritan clergyman John Harvard, it is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and among the most prestigious in the world.

Harvard is a large, highly residential research university offering 50 undergraduate majors, 150 graduate degrees, and 30 professional degrees. For the 2018–2019 academic year, Harvard granted 1,700 baccalaureate degrees, 1,000 graduate degrees, and 6,000 professional degrees.

Harvard is a founding member of the Association of American Universities and a preeminent research university with “very high” research activity (R1) and comprehensive doctoral programs across the arts, sciences, engineering, and medicine according to the Carnegie Classification.

With the medical school consistently ranking first among medical schools for research, biomedical research is an area of particular strength for the university. More than 15,000 faculty and over 2,000 graduate students conduct research at the medical school as well as its 20 affiliated hospitals and research institutes. The medical school and its affiliates attracted $2 billion in competitive research grants from the National Institutes of Health, more than twice as much as any other university.

Maybe even more notable are the alumni that hail from Harvard University, names such as John F. Kennedy, John Adams, T.S. Eliot, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and many many more.

Established in 2006 by Nabil Boustany and his son Fadi, the Boustany Foundation is present in Switzerland and Monaco.

The two entities share a similar vision although each has its own Board of Directors representing a diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds.

Preceding the Foundation itself, the first Boustany Scholarship was awarded in 1997 to an MBA student at the University of Cambridge. The Foundation has since awarded many scholarships in various fields with plans to create more opportunities in the coming years for exceptional students.

Today, the Boustany Foundation is actively engaged in promoting and managing scholarship and aid programs – all of which have ambitious plans for further development, global reach, and scope. New scholarships for talented and promising individuals are progressively being created. Each year more projects that offer opportunities for disadvantaged children are proposed and brought to fruition.

To achieve its mission the Foundation will undertake the following:

Support all disciplines contributing to the evolution of human civilizations:

astronomy, medicine, science & technology, finance, economics, management, law, history, philosophy, etc…

This objective is achieved primarily but not exclusively, by awarding scholarships to outstanding and promising candidates.

Promote harmony between human populations, by:

– improving communication, understanding, and tolerance between people
– promoting awareness and acceptance of the other’s culture
– facilitating, when necessary, the dissemination and flow of information.

Children are our future and are not autonomous. The Foundation’s goal will be to:

– enable children to live happy, healthy, productive, meaningful, and rewarding lives.
– help children in need.

The above activities are to be implemented progressively over time.
