Scholarship details
Society of Women Engineers Scholarships support those who identify as a female/woman and are pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student program in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science globally. In 2020, SWE disbursed nearly 260 new and renewed scholarships valued at more than $1,000,000!
Award Offered:
Up to $1,000,000 offered but not to all.
Requirements:
Scholarships rewarded to bachelor or graduate students. International students are welcomed, must be female to apply for any SWE scholarship.
Eligibility:
- Female
- Engineering is the desired an pursued field study
- Need extra money to cover the cost of everything
- Will be a freshman and G.P.A. 3.5 or 4.0
- Will be sophomore or above with a G.P.A. 3.0/4.0
- Studying at an ABET – accredited program
- Major + school = program
- Engineering, computing, or technology
- BS ABET – accredited programs only
- PhD & MS candidates at a school with ABET – accredited programs
Deadline:
For Upperclassmen – February 15, 2022
Freshmen – March 1, 2022
