Description:
The University of Copenhagen and the Cosmic Dawn Center jointly offer the DAWN Scholarship at the Cosmic Dawn Center. The program is valid for successful international students. The academic year 2022-2023.
The University of Copenhagen is a center of higher education in Denmark offering world-leading teaching and research. It is a public research university, ranked 84th by Times Higher Education 2021.
The institution allows its students to conduct research that covers a wide range of aspects of marine biology, including microbiology and functional biology, and addresses questions ecological. Students can conduct their research individually under supervision.

Students must submit the following documents: Research plan: maximum 3 pages, including figures and references, description of current and future research plans; List of publications; Cover letter: maximum 1 page, describing your motivation for applying to DAWN; Curriculum vitae, which includes a list of up to 3 people who could be contacted for references and, if applicable, a description of career breaks; Diplomas (master’s and doctorate, if applicable, or equivalent; a letter from your university explaining that you have completed the requirements for these degrees and are in the final year of a doctorate is fine)
To gain admission, applicants must have a corresponding masters or doctorate degree.

Package Offered:
- The scholarship offers a full-time position for 3 years at the Cosmic Dawn Center in Sweden with a stipend of DKK 420,040.76 including the annual supplement and a pension of up to DKK 71,826.97.
- The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, medical insurance, or study materials.

Requirements:
- Eligible Course(s): Post-doctorate in High Redshift Galaxy Evolution, Reionization and IGM Evolution, Early Stars and Galaxies, Dust and ISM in the Early Universe, 21cm Cosmology, and Dark Matter.
