It is our pleasure to announce the Lisa Pan Marketing and Technology Scholarship, an exciting new scholarship for students enrolling to our MSc Marketing program. It is accessible to all applicants from the United Kingdom and beyond.
In recognition of the award, the scholarship holder would automatically become a member of the prestigious Kent Business School Scholarship group, and would be encouraged to participate in at least one activity from a variety of options to support and promote your studies while a student at Kent Business School and as a subsequent alumni of the school.
About the Scholarship:

Before the start of the term, students can enroll in these courses as either stand-alone classes or as modules that credit toward a degree. There is a personal tutor allocated to each student who is available to help them with their academics or personal issues. It’s possible to join a large variety of foreign student organizations. In addition to Holi, Diwali, and Bollywood celebrations for Indian students, the Kent international team hosts a range of activities for international students throughout the academic year.
Both undergraduate and graduate financial aid programs are available to international students. That’s why Kent offers so many resources and opportunities to assist its graduates do well in the workforce once they graduate. Financial aid is available to all university students, regardless of their financial situation. In addition to internships and volunteer opportunities, the college also provides career and employability counseling, as well as Language Express and JobShop programs. Our many industry placements and our Hub for Innovation and Enterprise make it simple to gain real-world experience that can help you stand out from the crowd and land your dream career after you graduate.. In addition to sports and international clubs, we provide a wide range of student organizations for students of all interests. Maybe you’ll start your own organization. There are a number of events put on by the Indian Society for students throughout the year. Throughout Welcome Week and the rest of the year, they host Holi and Diwali parties, as well as Bollywood-themed get-togethers as part of their annual celebrations. We offer a wide range of support services to all of our students.
The Canterbury Medical Centre and the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service are just a few of the many resources available to students. Student Learning Advisory Service (SLAS) provides free support and counseling to students in need of guidance and advice. Those who choose Kent as their first choice for on-campus housing will almost always be accommodated. This campus has no communal bathrooms or kitchens for postgraduate students. Flats and studios are available for students to share in surrounding student communities that also contain shared houses and apartments. Students at the Medway Campus have access to brand-new, five- to eight-person en suite flats.
The University of Kent has four locations in Europe, two of which are in the United Kingdom. There is a strong sense of camaraderie among students at Canterbury because the campus is self-contained. On the campus of Kent State University there are six academic divisions as well as an extensive library system, a Mandela Building and a Gulbenkian arts complex. 25 minutes walk from Canterbury’s city center, the university’s campus. The city’s vibe is upbeat and hospitable. It’s easy to get to historic buildings, lively pubs, little taverns, and numerous shops. We are the UK’s closest city to continental Europe, with two-hour high-speed train rides to Paris, Brussels, and Lille.

An outstanding alumnus of Cavendish University Uganda, General Gabriel Jok Riak was appointed as the Chief of Defence Forces of the South Sudan Defence Forces (SSDF) a day after getting his bachelor’s degree in military science. Each year, General Gabriel Jok Riak nominates two (2) South Sudanese students for this Fully Funded Cavendish University Uganda Scholarship. General Gabriel Jok Riak must have nominated the students in writing.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered:
- Currently have an offer to study for an MSc in Marketing at Kent Business School for the fall 2022 semester
- Possess a first-class degree (or international equivalent) from a UK university, preferably in a science or technology-related discipline.
- Be able to fund yourself
- To be considered for the scholarship, the individual must submit a supporting statement that discusses how receiving the scholarship will allow them to further their interest in technology and business marketing. Blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, social media, online gaming, cloud technologies, privacy issues, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, technological entrepreneurship, and autonomous cars are examples of fields in which they have an interest. This is not an entire list; rather, it is intended to serve as a guide.
