Eligibility
- Applicants that are interested in the Adams, Ross, and Maryon scholarship will be eligible for this scholarship option if they are in financial distress.
- Applicants must be a resident of Nemaha County.
- There is a preference for this scholarship which is for not freshmen students but for returning sophomore students that are returning to school.
- This scholarship will be turned in with the returning admissions deadline.
- Students can be an international student just as long as they have spent one year studying at Peru State College already.
Requirements
The biggest requirement that is necessary is the fact that the student must be in their second year of schooling at Peru State College.
Admission requirement sot entire Peru State College consists of completing their high school diploma. Along with requesting official transcripts from the students high school and these transcripts can be sent electronically.

Luckily Peru State College does not look at ACT or SAT scores for college placement. However, if the student decides to apply to one of the more competitive scholarships then these exams scores are required.
How to Apply
The way to apply for this scholarship is for returning students who are looking for extra funding help. In this case, students will be able to apply for this application upon their return to the Peru State College as a sophomore. Afterwards, students can apply again as a junior in college.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The reward varies but up to a minimum of $1,200 USD will be gifted to any student that is in financial need. This amount can be raised to give the student extra funds as needed. The student can request a certain amount to see if the scholarship committee will agree when they go over the application of the student.
Deadline Time Line
Students can wait to apply even as a junior for the Fall of 2024 where the deadline is August 1, 2023. The deadline date is August 1, 2023 for the Fall 2024 year. The current 2023 deadline date is August 1, 2022. Unless students can apply today then they should wait for the 2024 Fall semester to apply.

The open submission window time frame is from May to August 1, 2023 for the Fall 2023 submission time.
