Scholarship details
Students that are residents or citizens of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, will be able to reach out and call or send an email to the BEBUC foundation. This foundation has become a long-term, sustainable program that focuses on higher education for citizens and resident students that live in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The BEBUC Foundation is currently open to donations from individuals that would love to help improve higher education access in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Eligibility
- Students must be a citizen or lawful residents of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to apply.
- The student can contact us at any given time to help build their higher education towards a career.
- This scholarship is not for international students.
- There does not seem to be an age limit or restriction that is noted or stated on the website.
- The student may need to state that after their schooling they intend to become a teacher in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Requirements
The number one requirement is that the student should be a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The student does not need to know English before applying, instead the foundation will help the student will any language courses they would like to move forward with.
Requirements could be slightly different for Master’s and Ph.D. level students solely based on the resources that are needed to properly excel those students towards a higher education level and degree.
How to Apply
An announcement of available applications will be present on the original website’s front page, along with all of their social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. A candidate will be selected by the local and international managing committee from the BEBUC Foundation.
The scholarship application will be filled in online. There may be requests to ask for a paper form to fill out and send back to the foundation.
Reward – Extra Benefits
Any individuals that becomes a reciepnt of this scholarship that person will receive $120 a month for a full academic year. This is to towards anything the student needs. This amount can be seen as a monthly allowance or stipend.
When it comes to benefits and rewards for students that have surpassed the Bachelor’s degree. There are Master’s and Ph.D. levels available that are slate at $20,000 in total for a complete two year academic run.
Student Visa
There is no need for a student visa for this opportunity. This scholarship is not open to international students, this opportunity is only available to domestic students that live or have a citizenship in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Options
This scholarship is currently an annual option for students, along with the first year scholars of the BEBUC scholarship where first year students that have won this scholarship the year before, can renew this scholarship by performing a blackboard assessment (10 minutes will be in English) will need to be administered.
Included in the renew aspect involves:
- English course
- Annual report
- Excellent results
- Interdisciplinary seminars
This foundation does already have a number of university and foundation sponsors who make sure that their is enough funding for each academic year. The funding does have the possibility of rising or lowering depending on that year’s donations.
