Scholarship details
This is a $15,000 fund for doctoral and post-doctoral Canadian students (at any university worldwide) to further their studies into peace and tolerance by undertaking a year abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel for research and study.
Eligibility & Requirements
- This scholarship will enable one Canadian, one Jewish/Israeli and one Arab (from Israel or another Middle East country) student to study for a one year period at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
- Nominations of women and men of all cultural, ethnic, political, racial and religious backgrounds are strongly encouraged.
- Candidates must demonstrate superior academic abilities as well as individual initiative and leadership skills.

The scholarships portal is not open since the deadline has passed, but the scholarship application website portal will be re-open on the website provided.
Reward
With the $15,000 that will go towards an applicants studies and tuition, there is also the enrollment into a specially designed Visiting Graduate Program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the Gilo Center for Citizenship, Democracy and Civic Education.
Deadline & Annual
Late March is the application deadline so the next deadline window is March 2022, no later than March 20th, 2022. This is an annual scholarship.
