Up to three scholarships are available for UK and international students interested in pursuing a PhD at Leeds University Business School’s Marketing Department. Marketing doctoral research students will learn how to conduct research that pushes the boundaries of the discipline and answers business and marketing challenges using cutting-edge research methods and approaches. They’ll learn how to convey their findings to policymakers, practitioners, and academics by deriving implications from their study findings.

The PhD program assists doctoral research students in developing abilities in the analysis of various sorts of data utilizing a variety of techniques and methods. Furthermore, doctorate research students are expected to attend and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences organized by the Marketing Department, as well as the Doctoral College and the Leeds University Business School. This serves to expose doctoral research students to fresh research ideas and procedures, as well as generate a stimulating environment for creative thinking and academic research effect.

Scholarship Offer:

  2. A UKRI maintenance grant (£15,609 in Session 2021/22) at the normal rate.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship 

Candidates should have a first-class or good upper-second-class undergraduate degree in order to be considered. They need also have a British Master’s degree (or an equivalent degree from an overseas university) or an equivalent professional certificate in an applicable academic discipline with a minimum average score of 60% (or equivalent).

The IELTS 7.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each component (reading, writing, hearing, and speaking) or equivalent is the minimal English language entry criterion for research postgraduate research study at Leeds University Business School. To be valid, the test must be taken within two years of the course’s commencement date.

Application Procedure

Stage 1: Fill out a study application form to apply for a research study location. If English is not your first language, you must complete our qualifying standards for PhD candidates, which includes English language requirements. Proceed to stage 2 once you have obtained your student ID number (a 9-digit number).

Stage 2: Submit an application for a Leeds University Business School Marketing Department scholarship by completing the scholarship application form. By 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11th, 2022, you must have submitted your scholarship application.
