Scholarship details
Epoka University located in Tirana, Albania, has released its scholarships for Bachelor/Entry level students and for their Master’s program. What the university has to offer from Bachelor’s, Master’s, to Ph.D. level studies is as follows:
- Bachelor and Master’s of Science
- Professional Master’s and Ph.D. degrees
- Architecture
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Economics
- Political Science and International Relations
- Business Administration
However, if students are not committed to Epoka University’s ability to advocate and provide enough study programs, Epoka University is in partnership with Leeds Beckett University located in Leeds, England.
Epoka University has several facilities available but it does depend on the field subject. The Faculty of Architecture and Engineering building is equipped to teach students who wish to have a degree in one of the following:
- Architecture
- Computer Engineering
- General Engineering
- Electronics and Digital Communication Engineering: Banking and Finance
Or there is the Faculty building of Economics:
- Business Administration
- International Marketing
- Business Informatics
- And everything Banking and Financing
Since Epoka University first being established as a prime business school in Albania, over the last 15 years there has been a slow shift where the focus has left business administration and geared more towards information technology and architect design.
The university has an interesting scholarship system that is not split into what degree level a student is working on, instead of across the board each student can receive a scholarship depending on their average grade point. The higher a student’s grade point average the bigger or more amount of tuition they will not have to pay out of pocket.
Eligibility
- Every student who attends or is enrolled at Epoka University is an eligible student.
- This scholarship is based on high-grade point averages.
- Both male and female students are applicable to apply.
- A student can be taking any study program and at any degree level to apply for this scholarship.
Requirements
The biggest and most important factor a student should have is that they are indeed accepted and enrolled at Epoka University before asking for a scholarship discount.
No student should create false information on their application university form to ensure they are accepted to the school. If they do create false information they are subject to being expelled.
How to Apply
The only way to apply for this scholarship is for the student to be a registered student a the university. This is the only sure way that a student will know that they have been accounted for to receive the benefits of this scholarship.
If a student is yet to be enrolled or accepted then they are not eligible for this scholarship opportunity. A student would have to talk with admissions to see if they can somehow become part of the ranking system if they have transferred from another school or country.
If a student if revoked or kicked out of the university for any reason they may be asked to pay back the rest of the tuition they had received a discount.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The traditional grade point average system is used to rank where a student falls. Here is Epoka University’s scholarship ranking system:
- CGPA 2.70-2.99 – 10% discount
- CGPA 3.00-3.29 – 20% discount
- CGPA 3.30-3.49 – 30% discount
- CGPA 3.50-3.99 – 40% discount
The reward from this scholarship is strictly towards cutting costs on tuition. The average Epoka university tuition for an annual academic year is nearly 4000 euros.
A 40% discount would equal to about $1,600 in USD if the tuition were in fact 4000 euros per year.
However, if it’s a transfer student from a different university that is now starting their first year at Epoka:
- CGPA 8.50 – 8.99 or equivalent – 10% discount
- CGPA 9.00 – 9.49 or equivalent – 20% discount
- CGPA 9.50 – 9.99 or equivalent – 30% discount
- CGPA 10.00 – 40% discount
All students should double-check because there is a difference in discounts when it comes to being a native citizen of Albania to be an international student who wishes to study in Albania.
The best way for students to win the most of this award is to have an excellent academic record with a grade point average that shows that.
If a student’s grade point average dips down far below what is shown on the system ranking scale, then the student will have to pay the full tuition price. If a student’s grade point average falls halfway through the year after they have received the discount there maybe talk about revoking the discount.
Deadline
The deadline date falls in accordance with the normal academic beginning and end of term. This means the deadline date is the Spring semester March 7, 2022, which has passed. So students will need to apply for the Fall semester which is September 2-13th, 2022. This includes transfer/international students who wish to apply to Epoka.
All students should be able to send in their admissions applications and as well as apply for a few scholarships that are presented by the university.
Open Submission Window Time Frame
The open submission window for the Fall semester (which students will have to apply since the Spring semester has already passed) has a set open timeline from July 2022 to September 13, 2022.

This is an annual ‘every student is applicable’ scholarship that Epoka University presents to all students each year. So this could be considered a renewable scholarship however, it is open to each student who has admissions to Epoka University.
