Scholarship details
The Goldsmiths University of London offers scholarship Ph.D. funded by the Council for Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The scholarship is available to successful international students, to enter in October 2022.
Acceptable course or subjects: Doctorate in the following SeNSS disciplinary tracks: Education, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Sociology (students with relevant interests in social science research in media, communications, and cultural studies, can apply under the Sociology track).
Applicants will need to have (or expect to be awarded) a master’s degree in a relevant subject area.
Before applying for the scholarship, applicants must have applied for admission in the subject areas cited above. After you are a college student, you must apply for the funding program.
Applicants must submit photocopies of official college or university certificates and transcripts, you will be asked to upload a personal statement.

Package Offered:
- The scholarship offers a stipend to support living costs (£17,609 for 2021/22) and tuition fees at the international rate (with funding provided by Goldsmiths and UKRI).
- The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, medical insurance, or study materials.
