The Economics: MSc Academic and Professional Scholarships (International): A Competitive Award for Aspiring Economists

The scholarships are equal to full international fees, which are £19,800 for the 2023/24 academic year. The scholarships will be awarded for one year of full-time study at UEA. The scholarships will be issued as a tuition fee discount and will be reflected on the invoice.
The scholarships are intended to encourage and reward students who have demonstrated exceptional academic potential and commitment in their previous studies, as well as to support them in their studies and living expenses in the UK. The scholarships also aim to foster goodwill and understanding between UEA and its international students, as well as to enhance the reputation and influence of UEA as a leading institution in economics education and research.
The scholarships are open to applicants who meet the following criteria:
• They have a confirmed place to study at UEA in one of the Academic and Professional programmes.
• They have graduated from a recognised institution with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division or equivalent.
• They are international students paying overseas fees.
• They are not receiving any other bursary or scholarship from UEA or another organisation.
To apply for the scholarships, applicants do not need to submit a separate application form. They will be automatically considered for the scholarships once they have received an offer on the Academic and Professional programmes by 30 April 2023. The applications will be judged on their academic merit.
