In coherence with the constitutional 6% budget allocation that the State of Nicaragua grants to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and based on its principles of probity, equity, and transparency established in its normative documents, UNAN-Managua has implemented a Scholarship Program in order to guarantee entry or educational continuity to low-income students from all over the territory, as well as for those who stand out in other activities promoted by the institution.

Due to the operation (public), to study at UNAN-Managua, payments are not required in any of the undergraduate and graduate courses, symbolically, only 200 Nicaraguan Córdoba equals to about $6 USD are contributed each semester in concept registration.

Students who are awarded this lodging (accommodation) scholarship will receive basic services, medical services, educational and psychological care. Along with being able to participate in sports and cultural activities presented in the country.

 

Student Visa

A student visa is only needed if a non-U.S.-based student is accepted to this college.
EEA students will be able to follow a general guide that can be asked for at the embassy or online through a government website about successfully applying for a student visa without trouble.
