Scholarships in Computer Science and Engineering are offered to deserving overseas postgraduate students who are enrolling in one of our Master’s degree programs in Computer Science or Engineering. Applicants are taken into consideration immediately upon submission of their applications. The scholarship will be made available to internationally qualified candidates who are interested in enrolling in any of the postgraduate programs that are listed below beginning in September 2023.

 

About the Scholarship:

The Inns of Court School of Law, which was established in 1852, is considered to be the institution that laid the groundwork for what is now known as City, University of London, a public research university. The Northampton Institute was established in 1894 with the mission of enhancing “the industrial competence, general knowledge, health, and wellbeing of young men and women belonging to the poorer classes.” [Citation needed] The founding departments of the Institute were Horology, Electrochemistry, Domestic Economy, Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metal Trades, Artistic Crafts for Industry, Artistic Crafts for Industry, Applied Physics, and Electrical Engineering. The university received its Royal Charter in the year 1966, marking the year of its establishment. Since that time, City has made significant progress and in 2016, it became a member of the University of London federation. It was renamed “City, University of London” to reflect this transformation in the institution’s status.

The rankings of City, University of London reflect the institution’s goal and strategy, which is to commit to academic excellence while also developing new knowledge, impacting the lives of its students, and contributing to society. The QS World University Rankings 2023 placed City, University of London in the 355th spot, while the Times World University Rankings 2023 placed it in the 376th spot, and the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2021 placed it in the 292nd spot. In addition to this, the Complete University Guide 2023 placed City, University of London in the position of being the forty-first top university in the United Kingdom.

 

Students at City, University of London have access to a wealth of possibilities for both academic and professional growth across all of the university’s campuses. The City, University of London has campuses in both of London’s most convenient central neighborhoods. In addition, there is a research center that may be found in Dubai. The remaining students were all enrolled in postgraduate programs, with the exception of just under 12,500 students who were enrolled in undergraduate programs. 12,340 pupils were female and 8,980 students were male. There were around 7,500 students from other countries and regions. The Bayes Business School had the highest enrollment, followed by the School of Arts and Social Sciences in terms of total students. Scholarship Offer:

The purpose of the scholarships, which each have a value of 2,000 pounds, is to provide financial assistance with the costs of attending college.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • You must already possess or be on track to earn a degree from a UK university or an overseas equivalent that has a classification that is higher than the program’s minimum entry criteria in order to be accepted into the program.
  • Your reason for applying to the Master’s program as well as your professional vision, as indicated in the personal statement and supporting materials you provided with your application to the Master’s program, will be evaluated.
  • It is not necessary for you to submit a separate application. Your Master’s course application form, along with your personal statement and any other supporting documents, will be reviewed, and you will be automatically evaluated for admission.
  • When does the application period end for consideration?
  • The final day for receiving completed applications to be taken into consideration for the September 2023 intake is March 31, 2023.
  • We will continue to review applications on an ongoing basis up until all of the scholarship positions have been filled. We are not obligated to provide prior notification if we exercise our right to terminate consideration. It is highly recommended that you apply to master’s degree programs as soon as you possibly can.
  • How exactly will you be kept apprised of the results?
  • You will be informed about the outcome of your scholarship application at the same time as you are extended an offer to enroll in the Master’s program. If you are granted the scholarship, congratulations!
  • The scholarship reward could be given to you regardless of whether or not you end up getting the degree.
  • If you are not selected for the master’s program scholarship award when you are notified of the decision about your admission to the program, we are sorry to inform you that this attempt at attaining the master’s degree was not successful.
