Eligibility requirements

Standard 9th class / Purva-Madhyama-1st year or equivalent course
You must have passed the previous exam (i.e. 8th class or equivalent course) with a minimum of 8% grades or the same grade overall and 60% grades or the same grade in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit.
Students must have opted for Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a work of at least 100 points or equivalent grade in the current class and also in the previous class (i.e. 8th class or equivalent course).
Class 10th standard / Purva-Madhyama-1st year or equivalent course
You must have passed the previous exam (i.e. 8th class or equivalent course) with a minimum of 9% grades or the same grade overall and 60% grades or the same grade in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit.
Students should have opted for Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a work of at least 100 points or equivalent grade in the current class and also in the previous class (i.e. 9th class or equivalent course).
Class 11th standard / Prak-Shastri-1st year / Uttarmadhyama-1st year or equivalent course
You must have passed the previous exam (i.e. 8th class or equivalent course) with a minimum of 10% grades or the same grade overall and 60% grades or the same grade in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit.
Students should have opted for Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a work of at least 100 points or equivalent grade in the current class and also in the previous class (i.e. 10th standard course or equivalent).

PLEASE NOTE: Students should note that student selection will be based on their overall grade/percentage and grade/percentage in Sanskrit subject. The final decision will be made by the Sanskrit Sanskrit Rashtriya on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.

How to fill out the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan scholarship application form
Candidates who have to apply for the Sanskrit Scholarship Form 2019-20 should follow the steps given below.
Required documents
Candidates will be required to provide the following documents as required by the scholarship board.
- Mark previous education sheet
- The information from the bank book where the applicant has an account in his name.
- Aadhar card of the applicant Caste certificate / category category reserved from the corresponding authority in the applicant’s name.
