About the Scholarship Provider:
The private Christian liberal arts and science institution known as Redeemer University may be found on an 86-acre campus in Ancaster, which is a neighborhood in the city of Hamilton, in the Canadian province of Ontario. It began operations in 1982 and currently provides students with a choice of 39 distinct majors and streams that lead to either a bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, or bachelor of education degree.
Through the Center for Experiential Learning and Careers, students enrolled in any of the programs at the university have access to a variety of off-campus options, including internships, volunteer work, and career counseling.
More than 50 distinct religious traditions are represented within the student body at Redeemer University, which takes great pleasure in its status as an interdenominational university. Despite having just about 800 students enrolled, the college encourages applications from students located in other countries all over the world. The typical number of students each class is twenty. The primary buildings on the campus were erected in 1985 and include one comprehensive academic building, 43 townhouse-style homes, 20 apartment-style units, a three-story resident hall, and a student activity center. All of them are known as the Main Facilities.
Additionally, there are sporting and recreational facilities available for use by students as well as off-campus groups, and in 2011, Redeemer opened its domed athletic facility in conjunction with Ancaster Soccer Club. Both the Pascal Centre for Advanced Studies in Faith and Science and the Dooyeweerd Centre for Christian Philosophy can be found here on campus. Both institutions are research centers. Both a fall conference in the month of October and a series of lectures titled “World and Our Calling Lectures” in the month of January are hosted on campus each year by the Centre for Christian Scholarship.
