Scholarship details
The Wellington International Excellence Scholarship is intended to assist academically promising first-year international students from other countries who are currently enrolled at an educational institution in New Zealand in their pursuit of an undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington. The majority of these scholarships will be provided in the amount of $20,000 to be used over a period of three years for educational pursuits.
About the Scholarship:
As a university, Victoria University was founded in 1897. The main campus is located in Wellington’s Kelburn district, a residential area only one mile from downtown. Several notable educational institutions may be found in the city’s core, including architecture and design schools, as well as the Law Faculty, a branch of the Faculty of Commerce and Administration. The Wellington International Excellence Scholarship 2022 will provide a total of New Zealand Dollars 20,000 (NZD 20,000) over the course of three years to be applied toward the recipient’s tuition costs.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- All applicants must be enrolled as full-fee paying students at an overseas institution.
- All applicants must have graduated from a secondary school in New Zealand for at least one full year, which corresponds to their Year 12 year.
- To be eligible to apply, students must be about to begin their first year of study toward their first college degree.
- The applicants need to have an excellence endorsement in their NCEA Level 2 (or Level 3 if they took it in Year 12) certificate, or another qualification that is similar.

The Commonwealth government’s Destination Australia Program and Flinders University created the Destination Australia Scholarship to help and encourage both Australian and international students to study in regional Australia. The goal was to develop and grow regional Australian tertiary education providers and give the successful students a world-class education.

- On the closing date, applications must be submitted electronically, in their entirety, no later than 4:30 p.m. Applications that are either late or not complete will not be considered. In order for the application to be taken into consideration, all necessary supporting documentation—including references—must be sent on or before the closing date and time, which is 4:30 p.m.
