Scholarship details
The FMC Skaters Scholarship is a program that aims to provide financial assistance to ice sports participants and recreational ice skaters. Not just that, applicants must be properly demonstrating personal excellence on court and off court. Sports such as ice hockey, figure skating, or simply recreational skating are allowed.
FMC has awarded over $400,000 in total of educational scholarships to over 440 high school graduates. They are selected by a committee and is looking at the applicant’s performance, involvement and community awareness activities.
FMC’s commitment to serve the communities is the reason why scholarship programs like this one are created. FMC’s mission is to help young people who as a dream of becoming one of the best in the ice, be possible. By helping the students in terms of their financial needs, is the way that FMC is going to give.
Applicants can start applying for the scholarship if they meet the valid requirements and qualifications of FMC. All applicants must be official residents of New England and they must have skated in FMC arenas all over the place. FMC hopes that by having this opportunity given to students, they would be inspired to become better and focus on their development on and off the ice.
