KOICA-MDI program intended to produce a Myanmar Researcher for the MDI or Myanmar Development Institute launches last 15th January of 2016 in Nay Pyi Taw. The Ph.D. program aims to produce a qualified research candidates in the field they choose, to totally equip them with right knowledge and skills for a leadership position in any private or public sectors.
The scholarship covers the Travel Cost a round-trip airfare from Myanmar to Korea, a monthly stipend allowance and full tuition fee for pursuing the doctoral program in the field relevant to Economics, public policy.
Citizens of Myanmar holding a masters degree in the field of economics and public policy with a good skill in English writing and communications are qualified to apply for this scholarship.
The successful recipient will be responsible to work for the MDI after graduation for at least three years. The MDI will also provide a high salary that is also equivalent to local consultants.
