Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation awarding up to 15 Ph.D. scholarship each year to international and Canadian students who want to pursue their research in related to Social Science and Humanities. The following areas of studies are Responsible Citizenship, Human rights, and dignity, Canada in the World and People and their Natural Environment.
The scholarship will provide a 40,000$ per year up to three years and 20,000$ as research and travel allowance for three years. It is important to read all the scholarship benefits at their official website to complete all the details the university provides.
The students must be a full-time or second-year students already registered in a Ph.D. program in the humanities and social science, must be a Citizen of Canada or a permanent resident. The students must possess an academic excellence, public engagements, and communication skills. Having a desire to contribute their knowledge to public dialogue, be involved in a community with other scholars and researcher, significance in doctoral research.
The selection committee will review all the application files, an interview will also be held for 30 finalists at the Montreal Foundation Office, and again be reviewed by the Committee for the board approval.
The deadline for the Foundation is on the 8th of December 2017.
