Scholarship details
The Auckland Business Chamber built up this scholarship in 2016 to honor Michael Barnett’s 25 years of administration of the Auckland Business Chamber.
Michael was designated CEO of the Auckland Chamber in 1991. He has driven the Chamber through circumstances of progress while keeping up an attention on what was used for business and useful for Auckland. His part as CEO empowers him to contribute towards issues of exchange and approach that develop the economy and also giving a voice to business. It additionally enables him to seek after activities empowering youth to take an interest in the workforce.
Michael gives authority on issues including education, diversity and transport, worldwide exchange, ports, foundation and nearby government effectiveness. He was a chosen neighborhood government lawmaker for a long time and was influenced an Officer of the New Zealand To order of Merit (ONZM) in 2011.
The successful student will be awarded in the field of communication or management and take note that there is two scholarship available amounting up to $5,000 each. All citizen from New Zealand is eligible to apply.
The students must check the qualification to apply for this scholarship:
- Be a promising communication or management student who might profit by this grant to finish your studies at the university.
- Be an extraordinary communicator.
- Have a research project, associated with leadership or communication.
The deadline for application is until May 18, 2018.
