Chester Entrepreneur Scholarship Many young entrepreneurs dream of owning a business, running a website or starting a luggage company but have limited funds to start. With the hurdle of student fees and homework, many student entrepreneurs have no choice but to forestall their dreams. The Chester Entrepreneur Scholarship was created to help students jump-start their businesses while in school. Chester is a direct-to-consumer luggage brand believes in helping passionate, hardworking, and, talented students achieve their dream of starting their own business.
This company aims to helps students who can’t afford travel and specifically international travel. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the students who are chosen to win.
The Chester company was born out of necessity. As they are avid travelers to every corner of the globe, they grew tired of luggage that never seemed to work. It was either too heavy, complicated, or easily ruined by harsh climates or adventures. So Chest decided to change this ideology.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Any current college student or incoming freshman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- The student must be enrolled at an accredited college, university or trade school. No major or trade requirements.
- Applicants from any country can apply.
- Must be a studying student full time.
- Must not be attending high school currently.
- Must be an undergraduate student or a graduate student.
How to Apply
All applicants must submit a 500-1,000 word essay on the topic provided and sent to the email address provided by midnight of the scholarship deadline. The essay question is “How would you leverage the Internet to develop a business?”
Be sure to send in any relate information such as transcripts to ensure a spot within the judging criteria.
Reward
This scholarship will award to only one $2,500 scholarship recipient that is picked to be the winner, this will be determined by the judges. A total of four scholarships will be awarded for each calendar year.
The scholarship will be awarded in check form, made payable directly to the winners.
Deadline & Annual
The deadlines for the current scholarships are April 30, 2021 and September 3, 2021. So applicants that are still interested into submitting for the year of 2021, need to submit for the Fall quarter. This is an annual scholarship award.
