CodeWizardsHQ is the leading online coding school for kids and teens ages 8-18. CodeWiardHQ focuses on delivering rewarding, fun, and effective online-based coding classes to preteens – teens. CodeWizardsHQ believes in a future that can be built on diversity through equity and access. While CodeWizardHQ has actively worked toward implementing hiring practices for a number of companies, that are also geared toward diversifying CodeWizardHQ’s team… this scholarship also implements the understanding that having access to higher education is a means to broadening a diverse candidate pool for the future STEM workforce.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 8 – 18, over 18 years of age will not be considered.
- A high school senior or a new college freshman (undergraduate) can receive $2,500 as a reward.
- Required is a 3.5 or higher GPA.
- Top priority candidates must be STEM program applicants.
- Must only be attending U.S.-based schools.
- The following country can apply – Canada.
How to Apply
Click on the link provided because this is the updated May 1st, 2022 application. Each candidate needs to provide proof of eligibility as well as, a statement of purpose. Another thing to add if you’ve received proof or a copy of your financial aid packet, please provide the needed receipt information.
Reward
The reward is $2,500 for a student who fits the criteria and is picked to receive this scholarship.
Deadline & Annual
May 1st, 2022 is the deadline and in August of 2022, the winner will be announced. This is an annual award.
