Undergraduate students who are participating in an honors research project within the College of Medicine and Public Health are eligible to apply for financial aid through the Honours Scholarships that have been created by the College.

- The funding for the scholarships comes from both the College of Medicine and the College of Public Health.
The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- To apply, potential candidates must:
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required, as is enrollment in or completion of an accredited undergraduate degree program.
- Be entering their final year of honors in the College of Medicine and Public Health; and Have as their primary supervisor a member of the College of Medicine and Public Health’s staff or a holder of full academic rank.
- The scholarships will be awarded to deserving students based on their GPA in their most recent 36 units of study at the third-year level (80%), as well as their future goals, other academic achievements, a summary of their leadership skills, community service, athletic participation, or other personal development opportunities (20%).
- The Teaching Program Director (Developing Researchers) at the College of Medicine and Public Health and the Honors Coordinators (or two members of the Honors committee) shall form the selection committee.

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
