Are you a Malaysian student who wants to study at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK? Do you have a strong academic record and a keen interest in finance and professional services? Do you need some financial support to pursue your academic dreams? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be eligible for the Malaysia TNE Partners’ Scholarship.
The Malaysia TNE Partners’ Scholarship is a generous award that UEA offers every year to students who are progressing from one of its partner institutions in Malaysia. These institutions are Asia Pacific University, Brickfields Asia College, Sunway University, Taylors University, and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). The scholarship is for students who are enrolled in any of the four-year BA American Studies with a Year Abroad courses at UEA, covering subjects such as law, computing sciences, psychology, economics, and business.
The scholarship is worth £1500 or £2500 per year, depending on your academic achievement at the point of entry to UEA. It will be awarded for each continuous year of study at UEA, up to a maximum of three years. Additionally, there are two awards of £8500 per year for the highest achieving applicants to the Norwich Business School and the School of Law.
The scholarship is intended to encourage and reward students who have demonstrated exceptional academic potential and commitment in their previous studies, as well as to support them in their studies and living expenses in the UK. The scholarship also aims to foster goodwill and understanding between UEA and its partner institutions in Malaysia, as well as to enhance the reputation and influence of UEA as a leading university in finance and professional services.
The scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:
• They have a confirmed place to study at UEA in one of the eligible courses.
• They have an average of 55% or above in their previous studies at one of the partner institutions in Malaysia.
• They are international students paying overseas fees.
• They are not receiving any other bursary or scholarship from UEA or another organisation.
To apply for the scholarship, students do not need to submit a separate application form. They will be automatically considered for the scholarship once they have received their results from their partner institution and have confirmed their place at UEA. The scholarship will be issued as a tuition fee discount and will be reflected on their invoice.
The Malaysia TNE Partners’ Scholarship is a valuable opportunity for Malaysian students who want to study at UEA and benefit from its excellent teaching and research in finance and professional services. The scholarship not only covers part of the tuition fees, but also provides access to the facilities and resources of UEA, as well as opportunities to network and participate in events and activities.
