Algonquin College is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship programs for international students in Canada as applications continue June 30, 2022, for the fall 2022 intake and  October 30, 2022, for the winter 2022 intake.

The purpose of this scholarship is to reward those applicants who have above-average grades and English Language proficiency.

Description

This Algonquin College International Student Scholarship is for freshmen and post-secondary college freshmen and is based on your latest transcripts and a personal statement.

Algonquin welcomes highly qualified students from around the world. This scholarship is intended to reward those applicants who have above-average grades and English language proficiency.

Level/field of study

It is open to post-secondary education in all subjects available at the university.

The scholarship is hosted by Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, Canada.

Eligibility

To be a part of this scholarship program, you must meet the following criteria;

‣ The student must be an international student, pay the full international student fee, and not receive any other scholarship or scholarship.

‣ Students must be accepted into their program for the next academic semester and have completed all conditions. (Students in the English for Academic Purposes program leading to higher education Algonquin Programs, see the EAP International Student Scholarships program).

Selection criteria 

This merit scholarship is based on your latest transcripts and a personal statement. This scholarship is intended to reward those applicants who have above-average grades and English language proficiency.

Notification:

The applicant will be notified by December 15, 2022, for the Winter 2022 intake.

Scholarship Application Method 

Application Process

  • Read the  Eligibility.
  • If you are applying for the Global Award, convert your Grade Point Average (GPA) to Grade Percentage using the  Algonquin College Grade System.
  • Please complete the application form below. You should apply for only one type of award and only once you have been accepted into an academic program at Algonquin College.
  • Due to the high volume of applications, only selected candidates will be contacted.

‣ Apply only once you have received a Letter of Acceptance and have met all conditions. The student must submit a complete International Student Scholarship Application Package that includes:

B. 500-word personal statement explaining how and why the student chose their field of study and what skills, knowledge, and contribution they bring to the program and to Algonquin College

do. Copy of academic transcripts

re. Copy of IELTS or TOEFL scores if the student is not from an English-speaking country

The University Twente Scholarship is intended for EU/EEA students.

Scholarship Benefits:

 Eligibility

To be eligible for a University Twente Scholarship, you must meet all the requirements below:

  • Application for a UT Scholarship is a separate procedure from applying to a course at the University of Twente. Regardless of funding, you will first need to obtain an admission letter.
  • You have been (provisionally) admitted to one of UT’s qualifying graduate programs beginning in the 2021 academic year (September). Please note: After you complete your application, it may take up to 8 weeks before you receive your results.
  • You must have a student number.
  • You have not graduated from a UT graduate program;
  • You meet the conditions for obtaining an entry visa for the Netherlands (if applicable);
  • You meet the requirements of the General English test IELTS 6.5 Academic (or TOEFL iBT 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) in the Speaking Skills sublevel
  • You are not eligible for a Dutch study scholarship;
  • The Twente University Scholarship is a scholarship for excellent students. This usually means that you are in the top 5 to 10 percent of your class.

Application Method

‣ UT Scholarship application mode is online. To apply for this scholarship, you must already be admitted (provisionally) to one of the qualifying Master’s programs.
