The minimum academic entry is for the Ph.D. degree level and Master’s degree research level. All students who will be admitted for the Ph.D. degree level must be holding a bachelor’s degree level must be four years full time and in a relevant course, master’s degree level that can provide their thesis, research, and full-time work. Students must be able to demonstrate an independent research and training abilities.

Scholarship Application Process
The application process for the scholarship program will be through an online portal provided by Monash University. There will be two separate applications for the local and international students for the scholarship and each round has its own deadline for the EOI or Expression of Interest and application submission.

All applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Applicant’s CV, the CV must consist of the student’s academic qualifications, scholarships, employment and publications, and performance.
- Two references
- Copy of academic transcript of records
- English language Score
- The cover Letter must be detailed
The cover letter must consist of two pages that contain the applicant’s experience, research skills, interest in the topic and why the students choose the Ph.D. degree and how can you demonstrate your opportunity on your career goals.
Prior to the scholarship application, before starting the application the students must review the application guidelines. Students have to register on the online portal and profiles must be updated. Keep in mind that only one application per scholarship is allowed.
Scholarship Benefits
Monash University will be awarding a generous amount of $30,000 that will be covering the successful Ph.D. students their tuition fees and living expenses while studying at the university per annum. The full-time rate will be available for up to 3 to 5 years.
Additional funding to support the students financially will be available through the teaching assistance and research with an opportunity to fund the student’s travel expenses and study exchange expenses with any of the university partners in the USA and in Europe. The university offers excellent facilities that include every doctoral degrees workspace to better learn, laboratory, and seminar programs.
Application Deadline
The deadline for application will be depending on the local and international applications.
- for the international, all applications must be submitted by March 31, 2022, and August 22, 2022.
- Local students must submit and complete their application forms from May 31 to October 2022.
All applications must be completed through the online portal provided by the university. Documents must be attached and must be completed. All incomplete applications for the scholarship will not be considered. The documents that have been made or submitted after the application process will not be returned to the applicants.
Scholarship Assessments
The recipient of the scholarship award will be notified through the provided email along with your application information. Unsuccessful students will be notified shortly by the university. The scholarship committee will review all the applications separately from local to international application. The scholarship payments will be applied once the students complete their admission at the university, please note the scholarship award can only be used through the education expenses.
The terms and conditions of the scholarship must be read carefully by the applicants. Scholarship amount can be changed its rate every year and will be offered annually by the university. Students are required to maintain their academics throughout the scholarship years to be able to maintain the awards annually.
