To support the deserving international undergraduate students, King’s College London offers the Ariyaratnam International Scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023. King’s College London is proud to offer a scholarship worth the amount of £30,000 for up to three years of study at the university.
King’s College London wants to extend their support and aims to provide an education fund to international students who can demonstrate their academic excellence and who are motivated to further their higher education in the United Kingdom. As a new students in an international country, the university understands the financial burden they are going through to fulfill their educational journey abroad, as one of the leading international schools, the university will help them cope with the barriers that let them further through their studies and achieve their career and personal goals.
The Ariyaratnam Scholarship
The Ariyaratnam Scholarship has created by the alumnus of the King’s Mr. Ineeyan Ariyaratnam intended to support one international student who will be commencing their undergraduate studies in one of the following:
- King’s Business School
- Faculty of Natural and Mathematic Science
The scholarship will be amounting to up to £30,000 to be used towards the successful student’s tuition fee. The awards will be paid annually for three years, an annual amount towards the student’s tuition fee is £10,000 and will directly proceed to the student’s tuition fee.

Scholarship Eligibility
The applicants must meet the following eligibility to be able to apply for the scholarship.
- The international students must be commencing their first degree in an undergraduate elective course of the scholarship.
- Must be classified as an international paying fee for tuition fee purposes only.
- Must be undertaking the Kings Business School program or the Faculty of Natural, Mathematics, and Engineering Science.
- The household income of the applicants must be equivalent to £50,000 or less
- The applicants must achieve the AAB or above in their level A examinations or equivalent in an international grading system.
Keep in mind that you are not eligible for payment in the year of repeats, breaks, interruptions, or insertions. If you transfer or withdraw from another course, you will no longer be able to pay.

Faculty of Natural and Mathematic Science
The Faculty of Equality and Diversity was created in October 2013. The role of this faculty is to support our work in favor of gender equality. Its mission is to ensure that the culture, practices, and procedures of our educators are fair and inclusive. It will help everyone, not just women.
Equality and Diversity Committee includes representatives from every department and varies by job level, family responsibilities, gender, race, and other backgrounds. Each department has its own equality and diversity committee which decides on local issues and works with faculty. The Equality and Diversity Committee oversees and trains teachers to provide a safe environment for staff and students. It identifies, implements, facilitates, and oversees faculty levels to enhance the performance and learning of academics, and supports staff and students in line with school goals.
Application Process
The ap[plicants who have received an offer to study in an eligible course offered by the scholarship program can start and complete their application in an online portal provided by the university.
To complete the online application, the students must be able to complete the information data and must be able to submit evidence of their financial hardship, the financial circumstances documentation is important to evaluate the student’s application, without this the scholarship application cannot be considered for evaluation.
As part of the application process, the students are required to write personal statements, outlining why they are the best applicants to receive the scholarship, this includes the financial circumstances and must be relevant t the scholarship topic, and the evaluation panel will review this and must not exceed to 500 words.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to complete and submit the application is until July 31, 2022. Late and incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
