The Research Training Program Stipend is now open for application for the 2024 scholarship round. The scholarship program offered by the Federal Government of Australia in cooperation with Murdoch University aims to support both local and international students to fulfill their higher education in a Master of Doctorate degree in Australia.

Scholarship Overview
The Research Training Program (RTP) allocates annual block grants to higher education providers (HEPs) to facilitate research doctorate and research masters degrees, collectively referred to as higher degrees by research (HDRs), for both domestic and international students.
RTP’s primary goals encompass the following:
- Versatile Funding: Offering adaptable financial support to foster the training of Australian and international students engaged in HDRs within Australian HEPs.

- Attainment of a First Class Honours degree
- H2A achievement (or equivalent)
- Completion of a Master’s program with a substantial thesis component.
- International students must meet the English language requirements of the university. Must have good communication skills in oral and written English.
