Criteria for Eligibility
The international students must be holding good academic records and must show their potential to the university as one of the scholars for the academic year of 2022-2023. Students must also consider the following eligibility criteria:
- Already received an offer to study at the University of Birmingham and be selected as a full-time undergraduate degree program starting in September 2021.
- the students have already met the academic conditions
- An overseas paying fee students for their educational expenses
- Can have their own sufficient funds for the staying cost at the university and visa expenses
- Must be able to pay their tuition fees upon enrolment on November 1
Application Process
The students must be able to apply in the eligible courses for the scholarship. The scholarship can be applied through an online portal provided by the scholarship committee or the university. The international students who already meet the criteria will be shortlisted and considered for the scholarship.
The students must submit the following documents upon application:
- Transcript of Records
- Students Personal Statements
- School Certificates
- High school Diploma
English Language Proof in any of the following
- IELTS of 6.5
- TOEFL score of 88
- PTE 51
- CAEL Score of 169
- DUOLINGO 109
Scholarship Awards:
The University of Birmingham will be awarding two deserving undergraduate students an amount of up to $3,400 towards their tuition fees.
Application Deadline
The deadline for the scholarship application is until May 27, 2022. The selection for the scholarship beneficiaries will be depending on the student’s academic standings. The two selected students will be qualified for the scholarship interview and will be announced after the scholarship committee’s decision.
The scholarship will be offered annually.
