An ANU PhD Scholarship (sometimes known as a stipend) may be made available by ANU Colleges. It is expected of those who are granted funding to engage in full-time academic pursuits. Nevertheless, if the applicant meets the stringent requirements, the scholarship might be granted for part-time schooling. The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- These scholarships are offered to current and prospective students who meet the following criteria:
- Have a Bachelor degree with first-class honours (some Colleges may consider students with upper second-class honours), or a Master degree with a research component or equivalent from a recognised university. Are students who are either domestic or international. Have applied for admission to a PhD or Professional Doctorate by Research programme.

The ANU 2023 PhD Scholarship for International Students is open to all international students.
If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
