In the academic years 2022–2023 and 2023–2024, Our Health Heroes Scholarships will be made available to outstanding foreign candidates who have applied to one of a variety of nursing and midwifery programs.
About the Scholarship Provider:
The University of Salford began its life in 1896 as the Royal Technical Institute. As a result, Salford’s former Royal Technical Institute is now called the Royal Technical College. After then, it was split in two, with one becoming The Royal College of Advanced Technology and the other becoming Peel Park Technical College. In 1992, after this change, the college became known as the University College of Salford. The Royal College of Advanced Technology evolved into today’s University of Salford after gaining the Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth II in 1967. The long-planned consolidation of University College Salford and the University of Salford into a single entity occurred in 1996. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings placed the University of Salford somewhere between 801 and 1000 overall, making it one of the world’s greatest universities. In 2023, The Times Higher Education will place the University of Salford in the same position (801-1000) as it currently holds in the QS World University Rankings. When looking at UK rankings, however, two different sources give different results: The Guardian has the University of Salford at #89, while The Complete University Guide has it at #85. The Guardian and The Complete University Guide use different criteria, therefore the difference.
There are three distinct campuses at the University of Salford: Peel Park, MediaCity, and Frederick Road. It is possible to walk between the Frederick Road location and the Peel Park campus in a reasonable amount of time. Students at Salford Manchester University have many of options for things to do outside of class, such as joining a variety of different clubs and societies and social groups. Several student-run enterprises can be found on the campus commons and in the Allerton building. These shops stock all the necessities for a student’s day-to-day life. More than £10 million in scholarships and bursaries have been awarded by the University of Salford over the previous five years to international students who have excelled academically. Students can apply for a variety of scholarships, including the Salford International Excellence Award, the Global Gold Excellence Scholarship, the Global Silver Excellence Scholarship, and others. Aside from being a comedian and TV host, Jason Manford also acts and sings in English. Richard Tice is a successful British entrepreneur. Alok Sharma is a member of the British Parliament. SeNSS is one of only 14 Doctoral Training Partnerships in the United Kingdom that is sponsored by the ESRC, and they will be offering a handful of fully-funded ESRC doctoral studentships beginning in September 2023. Scholarship Offer:

- Open to offer holders enrolled in one of our nursing top-up programs lasting one year. Because of this scholarship, the total cost of attendance will be reduced by £2,400.

- Open to offer holders who have earned a first or second class degree. This scholarship is only valid for the first year and has a value of £3,500.

- Available to offer-holders who hold a degree with a first or second class classification. This scholarship is worth a total of two thousand dollars.

- MSc Midwifery
- Available to offer-holders who hold a degree with a first or second class classification. This scholarship is worth a total of two thousand dollars.
The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.

- You are eligible to submit an application for these scholarships even if you have already been given another scholarship. However, in accordance with our terms and conditions, you are only eligible to receive one of our scholarships, and it must be the one that offers the greatest financial benefit.

The University Of Salford 2023 Health Heroes Nursing Scholarships is open to all International Students
If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
Application Procedure
- These scholarships do not need applicants to go through a separate application process. During the application process for the study program of your choice, you will be evaluated. If you want to get the funds for this scholarship, you have to first accept the offer of admission that has been extended to you and then pay the required deposit for your tuition fees before the deadline that has been set.
