Washington College Offers Undergraduate and Master’s Scholarships in Various Areas for successful international students. The academic year 2021-2022. Scholarships are offered based on GPA, test scores, or class rank by the Admissions Office.

Package Offered:
- The scholarship offers $ 35,000 per year, renewable for tuition expenses.
- The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, living expenses, medical insurance or study materials.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have an unweighted GPA greater than 3.0.
- Students can apply to Washington College either through the common application procedure or through the official university portal.
- Students will be automatically considered when submitting their applications for admission. Students must submit the following documents: High school transcript; Letter of recommendation; Personal essay and personal identification documents.
- Applicants must submit their ACT or SAT scores. Students must submit scores on the following English language proficiency tests: TOEFL – 79; IELTS – 6.5; PTE – 53 or Duolingo – 100.
Criteria for renewal
- Students who receive a merit-based academic tuition scholarship are required to maintain a 2.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and full-time, continuous enrollment at Washington College. International students who receive a merit scholarship are required to maintain a 2.0 CGPA.
- Students who leave WC and attend another school will not be eligible for their merit and/or need-based aid. Students may appeal and should contact the Financial Aid office to begin that process.
- Students who are not meeting the minimum criteria will not be eligible for the respective aid upon their return. Students will have the ability to appeal if there was an extenuating circumstance.

- Scholarships eligibility is for a maximum of eight semesters. Renewal eligibility will be reviewed at the end of every spring term. Students will be notified in June of their merit award status.
