Scholarship details
The International Student Awards offered by the University of Illinois Springfield will be intended for the international students who will be admitted for the undergraduate degree in the USA for the academic year of 2021-2022. The International Students Awards for the international undergraduate students will be awarded for up to four years. The scholarship is a merit-based grant offer by the university.

Eligibility
All international students are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The eligible international undergraduate students must be enrolled in any of the undergraduate programs offered by the university. The students who will be admitted to the university for an undergraduate degree will be automatically considered for the International Students Awards for this academic year. Keep in mind that the scholarship award will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis only.
Scholarship Application Process
The undergraduate students who will be admitted for the undergraduate degree will be automatically considered/ After taking admission at the university, the international students must create an account on the university website application for the scholarship awards.
The students are required to submit or present their official transcript of records and the admission requirements will be a 3.49 average minimum GPA score.
English Language Requirement
International students whose first language is not the English language are required to submit their test scores in any of the English Language proficiency tests.

Scholarship Awards
The scholarship award will be amounting to up to $4,000 and the scholarship award will be renewable for up to four years for the undergraduate students. The deserving students who will be receiving the awards must maintain the university-required GPA.
The amount will be depending on the students GPA
- $2,000 for the students with 3.0 to 3.49 GPA
- $3,000 for the students with 3.50 to 3.74 GPA
- $4,000 for the students with 3.75 to 4.00 GPA
The exchange students are not eligible for the scholarship awards, the University of Illinois Springfield offers a different scholarship opportunity to every student. All scholarships offered by the university will be automatically offered annually.
