Scholarship Eligibility
Before proceeding with the application the students must meet the eligibility criteria of the scholarship program.
- The applicants must hold citizenship from a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Attain a minimum GPA of 5.5 or above on a 7-point scale or its equivalent in your previous studies. You can check the Minimum GPA criteria for suitability.
- Must be able to complete and submit the application to study at Griffith University before the scholarship application deadline.
- To meet all the academic requirements of the university, the entry requirements must be able to meet.
- Must have good communication skills in oral and written English.
- Must be able to enroll in a full-time study commencing in Trimester 1, 2, or 3 of the year 2023.
The ongoing enrolment requirements for the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship are as follows:
- Students must be enrolled as full-time students and meet the requirements of their student visa to receive and maintain the scholarship unless credit prevents full-time enrolment.
- To remain eligible for the scholarship, students must pass all requirements for each trimester of study and progress to the next trimester successfully.
- Must meet the GPA requirements for the scholarship awards and must maintain to qualify for the tuition fee awards.
- Students must remain enrolled in the program for which the scholarship offer was made, as stated in the Letter of Offer issued by Griffith International Admissions.
Application Process
- Apply for admission: Submit your application to study an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Griffith University.
- Scholarship application: Apply for the scholarship by the specified closing date. Ensure you include relevant academic records and a personal statement as part of your application.
- Application review: A panel of university representatives will carefully review your scholarship application.
- Notification of outcome: You will be notified about the outcome of your scholarship application. The university will inform you whether you have been selected as a recipient of the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship.
Receiving the Scholarship
- It is important to accept both your program offer and the scholarship offer by the specified deadline. Failure to accept the scholarship within the given timeframe will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
- Once you commence your studies at Griffith University, the scholarship will be applied before the census date of each trimester, provided that you meet the ongoing enrolment requirements.
- While the scholarship covers a portion of the tuition fees, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance based on your enrolment. This payment must be made by the census date of each trimester.
