Students of exceptional merit who are interested in enrolling in one of the degree programs offered by the Luiss University in Italy may be eligible for a scholarship, either in complete or in part, to attend the institution.

Their goal is to build a future that is energized by the intersection of knowledge, different cultures, responsibilities, and inclusiveness in all that they do. Because it is one of our most important values to be hospitable to students from all over the world, Luiss University provides a number of scholarships to international students who have graduated from schools outside of Italy and gives precedence to the following categories:

  • Students hailing from countries in the Mediterranean Euro Area, most notably the Balkans
  • Students hailing from countries in East Asia like China and Vietnam
  • Students hailing from various countries in the Middle East and North Africa
  • Students who have Italian blood in their veins
  • Diversity on multiple fronts: social, national, and gender
  • Concerns over environmental preservation, a desire to participate in “circular economies,” and a desire to “go digital”

 

About the Scholarship Provider:

Luiss Guido Carli, with offices in the Trieste and Parioli neighborhoods of central Rome, is proud of its strong connections to the city’s thriving business community. Organizational executives headed by FIAT CEO Umberto Agnelli updated the newly established institution in the 1970s. The company took on the Luiss moniker in 1977 and honored its 15-year CEO, Guido Carli, with a nod the following year (1994). The Italian business lobby Confindustria has expressed its support for the school.

There are four departments at this university: business, law, political science, and economics and finance. Undergraduate applicants have to take a multiple-choice exam consisting of 100 questions and submit it within 90 minutes.. The exam covers a wide variety of topics, including general mathematics, general culture (current events, literature, philosophy), English, and reading comprehension, as well as numerical and spatial reasoning, abstract reasoning, critical/verbal skills, and financial mathematics. One can find a Luiss site in Viale Roma, another in Viale Parenzo, a third in Villa Blanc, and a fourth in Viale Pola. Santa Costanza is also home to a library.

Luiss is committed to maintaining its worldwide expansion by providing students with opportunities to experience a fulfilling setting outside of the classroom. Undergraduate applicants to Luiss University are required to submit a motivation letter no longer than one page in length, a copy of their official academic transcript detailing their previous studies and grades, the name and contact information of the teacher who will write a letter of recommendation on their behalf, and optional certification (such as the SAT, ACT, GMAT, or GRE).

 

You can choose to take classes in either Italian or English. There are two startup hubs: Enlabs, which is home to 60 startups in Rome, and a smaller collection in Milan. At any given time, about 20% of Luiss students are enrolled in an international program, and the school offers 25 different joint degree programs with institutions all over the globe. The newest of these will debut in early 2020; it’s a three-year college program designed in tandem with Sciences Po Bordeaux.

Open, dynamic, and transparent spaces are incorporated into the design to fully communicate the sense of community and social life at the University. Because of its commitment to academic achievement, Luiss Guido Carli is able to recruit the brightest minds in the world, both as students and as faculty. LUISS athletics Activity’s mission is to inspire student participation and a sense of belonging through the transformative power of athletics. Basketball, soccer, volleyball, rugby, and athletics are just some of the activities available at the School of Government. The Acqua Acetosa field at the University Sports Center PALALUISS is where all athletic competitions take place; it’s about 30 minutes by public transportation from the Viale Romania site.

Scholarship Offer:

The scholarships are a partial waiver of the yearly tuition fee for the University in the amount of fifty percent, and they are renewable for the full length of time that is typically required to complete the degree program.

 

The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • Applicants have to be residents of a foreign country.
  • All applicants are required to have a prior degree certificate that was earned with exceptional grades.
  • Applicants are required to demonstrate a high level of fluency in both the spoken and written English languages.

The Luiss University Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students – Italy 2023 is open to all International Students

 

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
