The EU Welcome Award is a scholarship program that aims to support and empower EU students who want to study at the University of Glasgow, one of the most diverse and dynamic universities in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is offered by the University of Glasgow, a member of the prestigious Russell Group of leading UK research universities. The scholarship is an automatic award for students who meet the eligibility criteria and hold an offer of a place on a full-time basis at the University of Glasgow.

The scholarship provides a tuition fee discount of £5,000 per year of study and is subject to satisfactory progress for consecutive years of study. The scholarship applies to all full-time, part-time and online programs. The scholarship also provides various benefits and opportunities that will enhance your academic and personal growth, such as:

To be eligible for The EU Welcome Award, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must have EU (non-UK) fee status.

• You must hold an offer of a place for an undergraduate or postgraduate program for 2023 entry.

• You must demonstrate excellent academic achievement before starting university.

The eligibility criteria vary depending on the level and type of program you are applying for. For undergraduate programs, you must have achieved or be predicted to achieve certain grades in your A Levels or International Baccalaureate (or equivalent qualifications). For postgraduate programs, you must have achieved or be predicted to achieve a certain degree classification in your previous studies.
